Can you tell me what is meant by the Term: Statutory Debt

I have taken ill, and my wife & I have debt problems. If we go bankrupt and if I should die & there is some insurance (my wife being the beneficiary)what would happen to with the insurance money?

The following changes are now in force as of July 7, 2008.

Would my employer find out if I file for bankruptcy?

Will the changes affect prior bankruptcies? Will I be able to go back to court after seven years, even though my bankruptcy was in 2004? TY

I know there are some changes being proposed to the forgiveness of student loans in a bankruptcy. When will this happen?

I live in a doublewide trailer, would I lose that if I filed for bankruptcy?
