Effective April 26, 2017, MNP Ltd. was appointed as Receiver and Manager of all assets, undertakings and properties of 0921477 B.C. Ltd. and Loewen Resort Management Ltd. (collectively, the "Company"). The Company owned and operated the Fort Nelson Hotel, located in Fort Nelson, BC. The Company also owned retail space, six townhomes, and 31 mobile home park pads on the lands in Fort Nelson, BC.

On February 19, 2021, 0932293 B.C Ltd. (Cellicon) filed a Notice of Intention to Make a Proposal (“NOI”). MNP Ltd. has consented to act as Trustee ("Trustee") in the Proposal. For further information in relation to the Bankruptcy proceedings, click here.

0932293 B.C. Ltd. was deemed to have filed an assignment on the 2nd day of March 2021 and MNP Ltd. was appointed as the Licensed Insolvency Trustee. For further information in relation to the Notice of Intention to Make a Proposal proceedings re: 0932293 B.C. Ltd., click here.

The Applicant, Canadian Western Bank, as lender, make an application for an order substantially, pursuant to section 243(1) of the Bankruptcy and Insolvency Act , RSC 1985, c. B-3 , as amended and section 101 of the Courts of Justice Act , RSO 1990, c. C 43 , as amended, and appoints MNP Ltd. as receiver of 1000179473 Ontario Inc. and 2724393 Ontario Inc. without security, of all of the assets, undertakings and properties.

The directors of the company sold the operating name and recipes to a local grocery chain and elected to retire. There were no succession plans for the operations and no individual was prepared to assume the ongoing operations. The majority creditor was a related party who owned the rented premises.

101118672 Saskatchewan Ltd., formerly Korf Properties Ltd., (the “Company”) was incorporated pursuant to the laws of Saskatchewan with its registered office located in Regina, Saskatchewan. The Company was incorporated in 2008 and carries on business as a real estate holding company.

10112216 Canada Inc. filed an assignment in bankruptcy, which was accepted by the Office of the Superintendent of Bankruptcy Canada and became effective on January 19, 2023, and MNP Ltd. was appointed as the Licensed Insolvency Trustee, subject to affirmation by the creditors at the first meeting of creditors. On November 24, 2022, 10135739 Canada Inc. filed an assignment in bankruptcy, which was accepted by the Office of the Superintendent of Bankruptcy Canada on November 25, 2022, and MNP Ltd. was appointed as the Licensed Insolvency Trustee of 10135739 Canada Inc.'s bankruptcy estate, subject to affirmation by the creditors at the first meeting of creditors scheduled on December 13, 2022, at 10:00 AM.

1032951 B.C. Ltd. formerly Quark Venture Inc. (the "Company") is an investment firm that provided equity financing to companies in the biotech and health sciences sectors. The Company filed a Notice of Intention to Make a Proposal on January 8, 2020 and MNP Ltd. consented to act as the Licensed Insolvency Trustee in the Proposal proceedings (the "Trustee").

MNP Ltd. was appointed Receiver of the property of 104 Ave (Edmonton) Development Corp. (the “Property”) by way of a Court of Queen’s Bench of Alberta Order dated February 17, 2021. The Property consists of real property located in downtown Edmonton, Alberta.
