Rob Shier, CPA, CA, LIT, is a Senior Vice President with MNP’s Consumer and Corporate Insolvency group. Based in the Markham office, Rob works in the areas of personal and corporate insolvency.
Drawing on more than 30 years of experience, Rob consults with and advises clients including high net worth individuals on complex circumstances arising from insolvency. His services include monitoring, bankruptcy and receivership, business reviews, negotiation and liquidation support. Having established and led an insolvency firm for over two decades, Rob brings extensive management knowledge to his role at MNP. His strong project management and crisis management abilities enable him to deal calmly with tension and stabilize volatile situations. He is open and available to his clients and offers personalized service that considers the needs of all parties involved.
Rob is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA, CA) and holds the designations of Chartered Insolvency and Restructuring Professional (CIRP) and Licensed Insolvency Trustee. He also earned a Bachelor’s of Business Administration (BBA) and a Masters in Business Administration (MBA), both from York University.
