Olivier Boyd, CPA, CMA, CIRP, LIT, is a Senior Manager in MNP’s Insolvency and Corporate Restructuring practice. Working out of the Montréal office, Olivier helps companies in various industries establish the best possible outcome in their restructuring efforts so they can reposition themselves for a successful future.
Olivier builds trusting relationships with clients, developing in-depth understanding of their business’ strengths and weaknesses to help them navigate through turbulent times. He strives to help clients keep their business and livelihood while providing the necessary guidance and tools for them to overcome whatever hurdles they are facing.
Olivier reviews the financial status of companies and prepares different options, which may be informal, such as a business review, or formal, such as business restructuring. His help includes negotiating with major creditors and stakeholders for a mutually beneficial arrangement.
After receiving a Bachelor of Business Administration from HEC Montréal, Olivier became a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA), qualifying as a Certified Management Accountant (CMA). He also holds the Canadian Association of Insolvency and Restructuring Professionals (CIRP) designation and is a Licensed Insolvency Trustee (LIT).
